A Clutter Counsellor is not simply a professional organizer. Mary provides ideas, information, systems and solutions which can increase productivity, reduce stress, and lead to more control over time, space and life's challenges. She helps people simplify their surroundings, whether it is organizing a walk-in closet or streamlining an entire home or office. Mary often works alongside the client, however, she is quite prepared to do the entire job on her own.

When clutter crowds out the good stuff, finding the quality stuff takes twice as much time and doubles your blood pressure. Therefore, to examine and let go of unfinished projects and outdated beliefs cluttering up your "mental attic", the first step is to clear out the clutter that you accumulate in your life and home. You will discover clarity in your thinking, and won't be carrying clutter in your "mental attic".

A Clutter Counsellor encourages you to toss, donate, recycle and remove clutter from your home or business. The underlying message is "love it or get rid of it". Once the stuff that you can live without is seperated from the "must haves", you may decide to consign or donate your old books, clothing, bedding etc. The local shelters are willing recipients and donating also gives you a sense of goodwill. After all, you may not love it, but someone else will! The remainder of the clutter will be things that you never got around to repairing or just plain garbage. Mary has an extensive list of charities and shelters which she can recommend, and her service includes drop-offs to charities and garbage removal.

You will be amazed at the space you will find! Mary was contracted to declutter and prepare a home for a real estate open house and by the time the job was finished the owners decided not to list. The space she created and the new look she designed enabled the clients to stay in the home which they loved from the beginning.

Once decluttered, you will have a more fulfilling social and professional life with much less stress.
