Mary E. Yaddaw graduated from Simon Fraser University in 1988, majoring in Psychology and English. She later completed a two year Counselling Skills Certificate Program at Vancouver Community College.

Mary has been working as a mental health professional in the Lower Mainland for the past eighteen years, both on government contracts and private practice. Her strong clinical counselling background has proven paramount in assisting clients to work through various issues related to personal crisis, stress and anger management, confidence building and post adoption. Mary's extensive experience in individual and family counselling has led to her discovery that there is a direct correlation between order in one's life and peace of mind. She has examined why it is so difficult for some individuals to get rid of their "clutter". Clutter can unknowingly overtake one's life and it's not always easy to overcome it. Decluttering, therefore, begins with understanding how things get into one's life in the first place. Getting control of clutter is ultimately gaining control of your life.
